Duravit Cape Cod Tub

May 3, 2022

Duravit USA is pleased to share its expanded bathtub solutions for the North American market. The newest additions include freestanding models from Philippe Starck’s Cape Cod and White Tulip collections, as well as a freestanding model from Bertrand Lejoly’s D-Neo collection. The five new freestanding solutions add dimension and new design languages to Duravit’s expansive bathtub product portfolio, which includes additional freestanding, built-in, drop-in, corner and paneled tubs. Most notably, the new Cape Cod, D-Neo and White Tulip models bring beautifully articulated yet compact freestanding models to North America for the first time.

“The 63-in. freestanding bathtub model is an optimal size for more compact spaces where a standard 70” model might have an imposing footprint,” comments Duravit’s president of North America, Bob Downie. “We are excited to grow our bathtub portfolio and see the value these solutions will bring to architects, designers, developers and consumers working on bathroom projects, across all types of applications.”

Duravit’s Cape Cod Tub

Philippe Starck’s beloved Cape Cod collection was inspired by the untamed nature of New England’s Cape Cod region. This unique collection of ceramic fixtures and accompanying furniture solutions comprises elements that rejuvenate the body and soul and enhance wellness. The addition of the new 63” freestanding version of the iconic larger (70”) Cape Cod bathtub allows for new design applications across renovation and hospitality projects. Made of Duravit’s high-tech, high-quality patented composite material, DuraSolid, the bathtub features a sophisticated matte appearance and natural anti-slip properties. A smoothly shaped headrest set into the bathtub’s ergonomic back slope guarantees enhanced relaxed comfort when reclining and bathing.
