Corbett Lighting‘s Anello recreates the traditional-style Venetian chandelier, morphing it into an awe-inspiring centerpiece. Handcrafted Venetian glass worked in loving detail by authentic Italian artisans is spotlighted by essentially removing the typical heavy framework associated with this type of piece. The result is a ring of individual leaves, finished in alternating straw or clear glass, which allows the light to flow through. These leaves, reminiscent of a Roman-style crown, seem to float in the air. The frame is crafted with stainless steel and iron finished in hand-applied gold leaf suspended by delicate stainless steel hardware, effectively blending in to the point of near invisibility. The Anello is offered in several pendant sizes, from an approximate 56-in. diameter to a 36-in. diameter, making it ideal for larger spaces. The Anello has also been reimagined as a single light wall sconce with the same delicate craftsmanship that gives it a life of its own and allows multiples to be arranged in a variety of placements for varying effects.
