Legrand has announced the expansion of its smart lighting offering to include solutions featuring Netatmo smart home technology. Designed with professional contractors and integrators in mind, the additions deliver unprecedented range, reliability and installation flexibility. Available from Legrand’s Adorne and Radiant Collections of designer switches and outlets, the solutions also include a versatile selection of smart switches, dimmers and outlets to fit any home’s unique needs and style. By leveraging the Netatmo technology, Legrand provides advanced options for managing the lights and power of an entire home, from anywhere, through the intuitive Home + Control app.
Optimized for whole home use, all Adorne and Radiant with Netatmo solutions start with a Smart Gateway to create a robust, dedicated network that can support advanced control of lights and power in any home environment. The Zigbee-based mesh network strengthens with every switch or outlet added, making the solutions ideal for larger homes and homes where Wi-Fi signals struggle. The Gateway is available in two flexible options. It can be installed in a standard electrical box, or the surface-mount version can be attached to an existing switch or outlet, no new wiring required, to lay flush on top of the wall. Any combination of Netatmo-based smart devices can then replace existing switches, dimmers and outlets, and in new construction, they wire identically to standard devices. Setup is simple through the Legrand Home+Control app, letting users easily add or delete devices, personalize settings, and manage energy usage. Additionally, built-in compatibility with all three leading voice assistants (Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit), as well as an open API, make it easy to connect these solutions toa home’s existing smart products or automation system.
Enabled by the Netatmo platform, the new Adorne and Radiant solutions also offer the heightened flexibility of wireless smart devices. Perfect for the contractor needing to creatively navigate open spaces and vaulted ceilings, the battery-powered wireless smart switches and dimmers make it easy to add 3-way control wherever it is desired – just mount the device to any wall or surface. Home/Away and Wake/Sleep wireless switches are also available to add one-touch, on-wall control of a group of lights, further customizing a solution to fit a home’s needs and preferences.
The new Adorne and Radiant with Netatmo solutions round out Legrand’s existing smart lighting offering, letting customers easily select the right solution for any home, no matter the type or size. With multiple smart lighting options available from two designer Collections, Legrand can support the entire spectrum of modern customer needs while complementing any décor.
