deVOL Pillar Taps

Similar to the other taps offered by deVOL, they have worked with Perrin & Rowe on this new range of bathroom faucets. There are two styles to choose from, separate Pillar Taps or a Mixer Tap. Both designs were inspired by old vintage plumbing and are made of unlacqered brass. The finish is exclusive to deVOL customers and one that required hard work to perfect. The taps will age over time and gain a lovely patina as they are used; like a perfect discovery at an antiques fair.

deVOL has long recommended Perrin & Rowe taps to its customers because of their simple classic design. They are British-made and of the very best quality. Pairing up and creating some classic taps in special finishes was an obvious choice.

While the brand embraces the use of modern machinery, it often finds old ways are the best. The deVOL Pillar Taps are made using traditional methods. All the shaping and polishing of the rough castings is done by hand by highly skilled artisans. This process is guided by an experienced eye and, as with many stages of tap making, it is dependent on the talents of the craftsperson to ensure the perfect finish.
