HamatUSA elevates the appeal of this growing trend by offering a new undermount series crafted from its proprietary blend of fireclay material known for exceptional durability and beauty.

Fireclay is the most resilient natural material for kitchen sinks and is completely lead-free. HamatUSA creates their fireclay sinks using a singular blend of time-honored methods and the latest technology, including the market’s most advanced injection molding techniques. Skilled artisans work alongside computer-controlled robotics to monitor each step of the fabrication process. While the machines produce sinks with consistent dimensions and density, it is the human eye and touch that ensures every sink is as smooth and lovely as the next.

The incredible durability of fireclay sinks can be traced to their extreme firing process. After being carefully brushed and sponged by hand, the raw sinks are cured for up to 48 hours. Then they are sprayed with glazing materials and fired for over 20 hours in a kiln at 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit. Being fired at such a high temperature causes the fireclay to fuse with the glaze, creating distinctive glossy and matte finishes. The mix of modern and traditional methods results in beautiful eco-friendly sinks that will last a lifetime while stubbornly resisting chips, cracks and scratches.

Chelsea undermount sinks are designed for duty in high-traffic kitchens. Tighter-than-average radius corners provide increased sink area and greater versatility. These sinks come in a variety of sizes, the largest being a 30-in. version in single- or double-bowl options. The mid-size 23-in. sink is perfect as a prep sink or in laundry applications, while the compact 16-by-16-in. sink is ideal for an island or as a bar sink. 

All are available in four elegant finishes – classic white, matte black, matte gray and biscuit.
