In partnership with Samsung, Legrand‘s Smart Lighting leverages Samsung’s ARTIK cloud services to allow simple connection with existing smart home solutions like Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Nest, FitBit and more. Designed to deliver ready-to-use connectivity, Smart Lighting devices are the first ever lighting devices to be certified from the industry standard for connected devices, the Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF), which means Smart Lighting controls seamlessly work with other OCF-certified devices regardless of brand or operating system.

Smart Lighting from the Radiant collection offers switches and outlets that combine clean design with advanced functionality and can be controlled remotely via the Legrand Smart Lights App or within the home via voice-enabled assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Home. The App can also be used to control lamps, small appliances and whole home lighting schemes to conveniently schedule lights, turn appliances on/off and more – controlling it all from any smart device anywhere.

The product installs in place of existing switches and outlets and connects to the users existing Wi-Fi network. Plug-in units are also available, which allow consumers to enjoy Smart Lighting without replacing existing switches. These devices not only control lights but convert other plugged-in products to be “smart” as well – indoors and outdoors.
