Sky-Frame launches a sliding window and door system that is rated for hurricane impact, according to Florida’s Dade County benchmark standards, while maintaining Sky-Frame’s slim line format. The new system has undergone final tests for hurricane-level water and air pressure tightness, and the large motorized corner module can be fitted with an electric drive and an integrated invisible Fly insect screen. The frameless, pleated screen fully retracts out of sight into the frame when not in use. Tear-resistant tension cords made from Vectran fiber and the integral system section guarantee maximum stability and weather resistance. Fly can cover openings up to 40 inches wide. Sky-Frame’s large, flush-fitted glass panels eliminate the boundary between indoors and outdoors.
