Designer Jaime Rummerfield Launches Namesake Firm

April 13, 2023

Interior designer Jaime Rummerfield has launched her namesake firm, Jaime Rummerfield Interior Design, following the incredible success of her nearly 20-year partnership with fellow Los Angeles-based designer Ron Woodson and their previous firm, Woodson & Rummerfield’s House of Design.

With the launch of the new firm, Rummerfield will remain in Los Angeles while Woodson divides time between Los Angeles and Lisbon, Portugal. Jaime is also the executive director and co-founder of Save Iconic Architecture (S.I.A.), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing awareness and action to preserving endangered architectural and cultural structures, and she continues to collaborate on its mission and events.

“In 2022, I came to the decision to launch my own firm to pursue other creative interests as an individual,” says Rummerfield. “After nearly 20 years as principal and design director in creating a timeless brand, I am incredibly excited for the next level of projects and my creative journey.”

Rummerfield carries extensive industry recognition into the next stage of her career, most recently being named a Next Legend in 2022 by Veranda. She is a “Design Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree” by the Design Leadership Network, was included in the list of “Top 25 Most Influential Angelenos” by Angeleno Magazine and “Hollywood’s Top 20 Interior Designers” by The Hollywood Reporter. Additionally, she was honored by the ARTS Awards as “Interior Designer of the Year.” Earlier in her career, Rummerfield was named a “Next Wave” designer by House Beautiful and “New Trad” by Traditional Home.

Rummerfield’s exquisitely designed homes have graced the pages of Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Veranda, LUXE Interiors + Design and House Beautiful. In 2008, she became a best-selling author of “High Style.”

As the incredible partnership comes to an end, Rummerfield looks forward to bringing her signature high-style provenance mixed with architectural history to her clients.
