Saving Water Is a Breeze With American Standard

September 09, 2010

American Standard’s residential showerheads and handshowers now meet or exceed the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) WaterSense program requirements for high performance and water efficiency.

The American Standard line of FloWise showerheads exceeds the EPA's WaterSense program requirements, with water savings at 1.5 gpm, meaning that replacing an older showerhead or handshower with a FloWise model can save a family of four approximately 11,000 gallons of water annually. The key to the FloWise shower is a patented turbine technology that spins the water stream through the showerhead to create a powerful spray.
